# Privacy notice — Tamba Sheku Lamin

Effective 17 October 2026. I collect only what you choose to send me, use it only to reply to you, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

## Who is responsible

## What I collect

When you send the message form on the contact page, I keep:

- the subject you choose, your name and email address, and your organisation, phone number and message if you give them;
- the page you sent it from, the date and time, and the country your request came from, as reported by Cloudflare. No IP address is stored with your message.

## Booking a call

Calls are booked through Google Calendar appointment pages, shown on the contact page. When you book, Google collects the details you enter (such as your name and email address) and shares them with me so the meeting can go in both our calendars. Google's own privacy policy covers what Google does with them.

## Why, and on what basis

I use these details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange the call you asked for and, if you ask me to, prepare a proposal or contract. Under UK and EU data protection law the basis is my legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you have asked me to take before entering a contract. I do not use them for marketing, and I never sell or share them.

## Where it is kept, and who processes it

Your details may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate, under their standard data protection terms.

- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site, runs the form's security check (Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical data such as your browser and IP address to tell people from bots), stores form submissions in private storage, and routes the notification email to me.
- Google LLC provides the calendar booking pages and my email and calendar.

## How long I keep it

I keep form submissions for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete them, unless they become part of a contract that must be kept for longer. You can ask me to delete them sooner.

## Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your details, to correct them, to delete them, or to stop using them. Email [tamba@tambalamin.me](mailto:tamba@tambalamin.me). If you are in the UK or the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

## Cookies and analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and runs for everyone. Google Analytics, which sets cookies and sends anonymised usage data to Google, runs only if you allow it in the banner; you can change your choice at any time with “Analytics preferences” at the foot of every page. The site sets no advertising cookies.

Your text-size choice and an unsent draft of the message form are kept in your own browser only, and never reach me.
